Longtime Community Advocate Joins South LA Organization
LOS ANGELES, June 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC) Board of Directors has approved an 8e member of the board of directors of the association, Quentin D.Strode.
Quentin’s experience in executive leadership and small business development brings valuable perspective to the organization, which provides business assistance primarily to minority entrepreneurs and small businesses around the world. South Los Angeles Region. “Her experience working with technical assistance groups supporting small businesses and women-owned businesses was also a factor in inviting her to the board,” noted Kecia WashingtonChairman of the VSEDC Board of Directors.
“We are very happy to have quentin strode join the Vermont Slauson EDC Board of Directors,” added Kecia. “Mr. Strode has over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, which will help VSEDC continue its mission to serve South Los Angeles businesses and continue to grow the CDFI program.”
Since 2013, Mr. Strode has served as Managing Director and Principal of ARTIFEX CAPITAL & ADVISORY, where he is an owner, using his knowledge to create innovative business solutions and growth initiatives for small agricultural businesses.
Prior to his current role at ARTIFEX, Strode built a distinguished career as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for US Bank, and as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Bank of America.
