Oceanside Economic Development News: Open now and coming soon

OCEANSIDE, CA – November has only just begun with the opening, relocation and expansion of many Oceanside businesses in the city. The Patch has you covered with the latest Economic Development News courtesy of the Town of Oceanside.

The Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen recently opened at their new location at 509 Mission Ave. in downtown Oceanside. Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen has been a popular restaurant for over a decade, offering fresh, farm-cooked food.

The community cafe serving craft coffee, bites and flowers in a welcoming and trendy environment is now open at 602 Tremont St.

The communal annex offers household items, workshops and a private rental and event space at 407
Minnesota Avenue, 105 Street.

Brixton, a lifestyle clothing brand, recently opened its third physical store here in Oceanside at 602 South Tremont St. Brixton also has a production and distribution facility here in the Ocean Ranch Corporate Center.

BottleCraft, a beer shop and tasting room, is now open at 602 South Tremont St., Ste 101. Food will be provided by Shootz Fish x Beer, which will open soon.

The hotel La Chambre Verte, a new boutique hotel, recently opened at 2020 South Coast Hwy. in the “Sud O” district. Owners Steve and Brett stumbled across this awesome and (for the most part) forgotten motel from 1961 on their way between Carlsbad and Oceanside depending on the surf or the nightlife hangout.

This boutique hotel is a sacred nod to the surf and sound subcultures of Southern California of generations past and present. The hotel was completely renovated before opening in the summer of 2021. Twelve suites are uniquely designed with bohemian accents and lavish interiors.

Recharge Sonora is an eco-friendly farmer’s market boutique that offers quality, non-toxic, health-conscious bath and home products. Most products are customizable with quality essential oils and fragrances, allowing you to personalize the products you put on your skin and your home.
Sonora Refillery wants to help create awareness that your home is setting the stage for your life. They are dedicated to helping people make their household products safer for their families, while reducing toxic effects on their environment.

Sonora Refillery also offers plastic-free alternatives for the products. All of their products are made in the USA and are sulfate and paraben free. Sonora recharge is located at 1012 South Coast Hwy. Open from Wednesday to Sunday. 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. www.diyrefill.com
